Stages of DTP work

Translation process combined with a DTP service is a multi-stage process. In our company, it looks like this:

  1. You provide materials and we quote it.
  2. After your quote has been approved, we start the translation.
  3. The translated text is assembled – we make sure that it looks as good as the source file.
  4. We make a technical correction  DTP composition .
  5. You receive (depending on individual needs) ready files: open (DTP, e.g. InDesign package), low-resolution PDF (lores), which is suitable for distribution on the Internet, and PDF prepared for printing – in high resolution (hires).
  6. We receive approval or corrections for implementation after being verified by the client.
  7. We remain at the disposal of the printing house chosen by the client – in case of need to export files with different settings or other random accidents.

An additional service provided by Lingua is the playback of uneditable files. If you want to translate a graphic file (e.g. a scan) or an uneditable PDF file without DTP, we can undertake such translation. After delivering the material to us, we will recreate it using the optical content processing program and create a document with the same layout. You will receive it in MS Word or Adobe InDesign format. Of course, these are not the only options.
